YOUR FORUM SUGGESTIONS:
We want to make this forum as user friendly and simple as possible. If you have any suggestions on how to make it better, please let us know.
USING AND SENDING INFO TO THE FORUM:
The forum is our great strength – it is the place where we meet to make friends, encourage one another, trade ideas and patterns and in general have fun!
Here are some suggestions for using the forum and sending messages:
- Send us your messages, updates, patterns etc and we will place them in a category on The Forum page
- If your message does not fit into a category we will start a new one
- Photographs: As this section will get very large we ask that you follow these guidelines:
- Limit personal photos to 1 or 2
- Send only photos of items made for ko2so – not items or photos made for another organisation
FORUM ETIQUETTE:
Some words on the general use of the ko2so Forum and forum etiquette in general.
This forum is a way of communicating with like minded people. It will allow all the amazing people around the world who support the cause to converse. Even better it will let them to see and hear the results of their work.
The vast majority of people will know that common courtesy is the preferred behaviour in any forum. This forum is no different. In case anyone is unfamiliar with the internet or communicating online, here are a few simple guidelines for posting your contributions.
- As in life, treating others as you would like to be treated is an excellent principle
- An absolute no-no is sending personal information about another person that can in anyway identify them. This can lead to a permanent ban on most forums
- You are perfectly entitled to disagree or express a difference of opinion with another person, but flaming or abusive, insulting or foul language should also be avoided at all times
- Scrolling, or sending the same thing repeatedly, is also a bannable offence
- Most forums consider messages in ALL CAPITALS to be shouting and therefore offensive. It’s also very hard to read which is why nearly all text is always in upper and lower case. You can, however, capitalise a word or phrase for emphasis
